1. What is GYXTW fiber optic cable?

The GYXTW fiber optic cable is a type of outdoor, light-armored fiber optic cable for use in aerial or duct installations.

Its name describes its construction:

  • --> GY for outdoor use,
  • --> X for a central loose tube structure,
  • --> T for a filled/water-blocking structure,
  • --> W for a steel polyethylene bonded sheath with steel wires for armor.

GYXTW fiber optic cable is an outdoor use fiber loose tube cable for duct, aerial and direct buried applications. With water-blocking materials filled, ensure the compactness and longitudinal water-blocking performance.
